Expanding international horizons Overseas correspondent come to FHK college

To stimulate students’ interest in global news, the Central News Agency in collaboration with Journalism Department is hosting the second “I’m The Overseas Correspondent” event. The organizer has invited CNA overseas correspondent Cao Yufan to give a speech sharing his foreign experience and encouraging students to follow global events, building up the habit of reading news, expanding global vision, and think globally in the future.
To equip the new generation with a global vision, the CNA has begun hosting the “I’m The Overseas Correspondent” event in 2017 and invited CNA overseas correspondents to give speeches in campuses hoping to instill passion to school students.
CNA director Zhang Ruichang indicated that he hopes that more students from Fu Hsing Kang can take part in the competition in order to increase world knowledge and become a truly “Overseas Correspondent.”
【記者林睿奕/台北報導】為激發年輕學子對國際新聞的興趣，中央通訊社與新聞學系合作，於二月二十五日在復興崗校區舉行第二屆「我是海外特派員」系列講演活動。主辦單位邀請中央社前海外特派員曹宇帆，以「加州陽光下的運動大視界」為題，分享駐外經驗，並鼓勵同學關注國際時事，培養閱讀新聞的習慣，拓展國際觀，未來能放眼全球。
中央社於2017年至今在各大專院校以「我是海外特派員」為題，舉辦巡迴徵才講座，由社內曾駐外的優秀記者主講，並且透過徵選優秀人才，提供海外實習機會來增進學生意願期許此新聞能量帶入校園。
中央社社長張瑞昌期勉今年度能有更多的復興崗學子踴躍參與，增加對國際的認知，成為一名貨真價實的「海外特派員」。
