Course Description: This workshop is designed to strengthen participants' research skills on massive textual data. The first day of the workshop will introduce the concepts and principles of text mining, the essentials of writing text mining essays, and the introduction and operation of basic R language commands. The second day will focus on text keyword extraction, supervised text mining and sentiment analysis. The third day of the course will focus on unsupervised text mining, and will mention short text topic modeling and social network analysis.
️Participants are advised to bring their laptops to practice with the speakers on-site.
