Within the campus of the Political Warfare College, there has always been a figure who guarded students with love and passion, and accompanied colleagues with warmth—that is our most respected Professor Chien Shu-Fen.
With professionalism and sincerity, Professor Chien transformed the spirit of psychology and social work into concrete actions, accompanying countless students in their growth and becoming a guiding light for their hearts.
Professor Chien often said: “Companionship and listening are more important than answers.”
In the classroom, with her gentle yet firm words, she taught us to see the brightness of humanity; in life, through her care and smile, she made students feel the warmth of home.
Now, as Professor Chien embarks on a new chapter in life, we feel reluctant to part but are even more filled with gratitude. Thank you for your years of dedication to our department, for your quiet devotion to students’ growth, and for leading us through your own life story to understand the true essence of “psychology and social work.”
